About me
Marian is currently in her fourth year of the Bachelor of Arts in Multidisciplinary Studies program at Red Deer Polytechnic.
In addition to being a student, Marian is the Governance and Student Support Coordinator at the Students’ Association of Red Deer Polytechnic, as well as a Member of the Alberta Students’ Executive Council Board of Directors. In her work, she has eight years of experience in policy development and bylaw review, along with a strong commitment to advancing best practices in student governance. Her unique position as both a staff member and a student offers a valuable dual perspective, allowing her to provide meaningful support to students.
Outside of her professional and academic work, Marian has a keen interest in the literary arts, which informs her thoughtful communication style and appreciation for storytelling in leadership and community building.
