About me
I recently completed my Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Red Deer Polytechnic and will be beginning my master’s studies this October. My academic interests include child and adolescent development, mentorship, trauma, and the long-term impact that childhood experiences can have on emotional and psychological well-being.
Through my Community Service Learning placement with Big Brothers Big Sisters, I explored how mentorship can support adolescent growth, resilience, and emotional development. My presentation reflects on these experiences and examines the role community-based mentorship programs play in fostering positive developmental outcomes for young people.
I am passionate about creating supportive environments for children and adolescents and hope to specialize in trauma-informed work focused on understanding and supporting individuals shaped by childhood experiences.
